Call to Order: The Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of Timbers Water & Sanitation District was called to order by President Ron Krall on March 14 2016 at 5:56pm, noting a quorum was present.
Minutes: The Board reviewed the Regular Meeting minutes of the February 8, 2016 meeting. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously approved, it was
RESOLVED to approve the meeting minutes.
Financials: The February 2016 Financial Statements were reviewed. Ellen noted, invoices will be sent out in April and Taxes will start coming in. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimous, it was
RESOLVED to approve the financials.
Invoices: Invoices for February 2016 were reviewed. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously approved, it was.
RESOLVED to approve payment of the open invoices.
Transfer of Funds: No need to transfer funds this month.
Water test: The board asked Jodi to inquire about the high levels of phosphorous in the water tests.
Board Member Position:
Jodi announced that 4 people have shown interest in joining the board. Ron Krall explained that the original intention of the board was to have a representative from each community within the district. Ron felt it would be best to have a representative from the Condos if possible. Ron asked Jodi to reach out to Dusty and ask him to come to the next meeting. If Dusty is not interested, the board asked Jodi to write to the others showing interest, stating there are a number of people interested and to please send a short note stating that you would like to be considered. If more than 1 responds, they will be invited to come to a board meeting for an interview and the board will assign a new member.
Secretary Treasurer: Ellen mentioned the need to elect a Secretary Treasurer at the next meeting.
Liens: Ellen said that she has investigated the lien for lot 12A, Timbers Preserve, Filing 2. Ellen has contacted the Law firm who managed the closing, but said they have not been helpful. Elle said the lien payment should show up on the closing statement. Ron said he would ask the new owners if they remember paying a lien on the property or if they could check the closing statement so see if it was listed. The board requested Ellen send the Law Firm contact information to Jodi so she could follow up.
Lot 2, Timbers Exempt Subdivision is currently owned by Centennial bank and is under contract. Ellen said she has the contact information and would contact them.
Ellen asked Jodi to inform Tim to use the Timbers account for Environmental Health. He is to tell them that he is placing the order.
