NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION TO CREATE THREE SUBDISTRICTS
WITHIN THE TIMBERS WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 32-1- 1101(1.5)(a), C.R.S. that the Board of Directors of the
Timbers Water and Sanitation District of the County of Routt, State of Colorado (“District”), will hold a
public hearing for the purposes of creating three subdistricts:
1. The subdistricts proposed be created are the Water Subdistrict, the Sewer Subdistrict
and the No Service Subdistrict. The boundary of the Water Subdistrict is entirely within the boundaries
of the District and is more particularly described as: the boundary of THE TIMBERS CONDOMINIUM
CONDOMINIUM PLAN according to the SURVEY MAP sheet 1 at File #7445 in the Routt County Clerk and
Recorder’s office; the boundary of THE TIMBERS PRESERVE according to the plat page 1 of 4 at File
#11203 in the Routt County Clerk and Recorder’s office; and the boundary of THE TIMBERS VILLAGE
according to the Final Plat page 1 of 3, at File #12739 in the Routt County Clerk and Recorder’s office.
The boundary of the Sewer Subdistrict is entirely within the boundaries of the District and is more
particularly described as: the boundary of THE TIMBERS CONDOMINIUM CONDOMINIUM PLAN
according to the SURVEY MAP sheet 1 at File #7445 in the Routt County Clerk and Recorder’s office and
the boundary of THE TIMBERS VILLAGE according to the Final Plat page 1 of 3, at File #12739 in the
Routt County Clerk and Recorder’s office.
The boundary of the No Service District is entirely within the boundaries of the District and is more
particularly described as: that real property identified as Routt County Assessor Parcel Numbers
947153001, 947153002, and 947222002.
2. At the close of the public hearing, the Board of Directors shall act by adoption of a
resolution to approve or disapprove the creation of the three subdistricts. The Board may change the
geographical boundaries of each proposed subdistrict at the public hearing
3. Persons having objection to the creation of the three subdistricts may appear at the
public hearing to object to creation of the proposed subdistricts and proposed additional bonds and levy
of additional taxes.
Accordingly, notice is hereby given to all interested persons to appear at a public hearing of the
Board of Directors of the Timbers Water and Sanitation District, at the offices of Sharp, Steinke,
Sherman and Engle, LLC at 401 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, Colorado on March 5, 2018 at 5:30
p.m. and state their objections, if any they have, why such resolution should not be adopted.
